Buck  20 yrs oldFrom Nashville, TN Buck was a sweet soul that you can tell had a hard life. His eyes were so soft but his guard was always up. Buck never wanted to be kissed until he got home to Harmony Corral but then he realized that he was truly loved, the world was safe... and to live here it comes with a hug and kiss price. Within a few weeks Buck loved to give his mommy kisses but no one else. A special bond of love and trust. A shy young boy named Tao came into the program and Buck and he became best friends. Tao made Buck glow and feel so important and Buck helped Tao grow into a new skin of confidence and happiness galore. A gift that only a horse like Buck could give. The horse... The world's greatest Mentor! Buck was Tao's mentor horse and to see them together in the program and how they chose one another was nothing shy of divine. Buck has changed Tao's life forever! For Buck, life could not be any more at peace or maybe it was like once upon a time. Buck was with us for only 11 months. He passed away September 2004 and is dearly missed. But all who got to live in his Spirit for such a short time have been forever....blessed! He was laid to rest in his favorite meadow in his favorite spot and his spirit is always there and he lives through Mikey, Smoochers and Mae too. Please check back.
